Hello all….  We recently had the pleasure of assisting a special couple bring their amazing vision of  an initimate and unique wedding to life.  Kelie and John were wed at the Hotel Palomar located  in Arlington, VA.  Kelie had a vision of a romantic, elegant, and very personable wedding.  She wanted to look back and see reflections of her and John throughout the wedding. Kelie selected vibrant colors of purple accented with orange and dark red.  These colors, combined together, were absolutely stunning.  (more…)

Hello… One of my favorite parts of wedding planning is selecting the cake! Wedding cakes have come a long way from the traditional cake with a topper of a bride and groom.  Bakers have transformed these cakes into a work of art.  They now have texture, color, and varying shapes.  The wedding cake is now a part of the design concept for planning a wedding.  It can reflect your personality and style.  (more…)

Hello all!  I hope that everyone made it through the hurricane safely and was able to enjoy Labor Day!  For the brides who are stuck on color selections for their big day, this post is sure to give you a jolt of inspiration. Drumrolll please……. Orange.  Yes, Orange is the color of the week.  Although Orange is not the first color thought of for a wedding, it has a playful and fun feel to it.  You can dress it up or down and it goes with just about any other color!  Shown below are two of my favorite combinations for the fall and summer.
